Netanyahu apologizes to Qatari PM for attack
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has apologized for Israel’s attack on the Qatari capital Doha. He called Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani from the White House on Monday to express his regret for the attack, a source close to Netanyahu told Reuters.
The call to the Qatari prime minister came as Netanyahu was meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington. Another source familiar with the discussions said a Qatari technical team was also present at the White House at the time.
